Some of these things I learned the hard way....
1)Don't fuck your co-workers from the club.
- I hope I do not have to say not to have sex with your clients....
- If you do end up in a relationship with a dancer/male co-worker, make sure you are only with that person unless you have established an open relationship.
- Don't hook up with people that have narcotic habits.
2)NEVER give out your locker combination.
-EXEPTION: to a trusted friend when you are way too trashed to dress yourself let alone open your locker.
- Managers usually have your locker combonations on file in the office, ask a manager to help you.
3)NEVER stack dances, collect after every three at the most. You will get robbed eventually.
4)Be the responsible big sister
- Be the first to volunteer to take a missed stage=>more $ for you!
- Act like your clients date, pour his drinks when the waitress is not there.
- Help train the fresh meat when a manager asks you. It means he thinks you are responsible enough.
5)TEAMWORK!
- Have a favorite waitress and bouncer that you refer your clients to, they will help you more later.
-Typical tip-out=> 15% after house fee + VIP tipouts. Pay more when you can, it will pay off.
6)Private Clients 101 (not condoned or recommended)
- Confidentiality (hopefully no explanation necessary.
- Bring security with you, always have someone there who knows the exact time you will be exiting that door.
- If you get ANY feeling like you should leave because of your safety.....just LEAVE!
-Again I hope this is something I do not have to remind people but if you are one of those girls that have sex with clients, being "call girls" or "escorts" please please please!!! be on BIRTH CONTROL AND USE CONDOMS. No ifs ands or buts about it girls!
7)Beware of the comfy couches.
-Do not drink and sit on the really comfy couches you will fall asleep and get a one-way ticket to going home.
8)If you really want to get good at trick-poling, take a class, eat well, do not drink too much and take vitamins.
9)Heels break ladies! We put lots of wear and tear on those stilts they call shoes, have extra pairs in your locker.
10)Co-worker relations.
- Yes you are competing against eachother but its like any other job where you have to work with people. JUST GET ALONG GIRLS!!!
